Restaurants are among the trickiest of businesses at which to implement a safe way to resume on-site operations as the pandemic continues to rage across the country. By nature, restaurants are social-gathering spots, but nowadays that needs to be limited. Most restaurants solved this dilemma by offering outdoor-only seating and/or opening at just 50 percent (or less) capacity, with seating only available at every other table. And, of course, you’re hard-pressed to find a server today not wearing a facemask. With our Employee Safety and Wellness Program, you can take extra steps to keep both your employees and customers even safer, whether you’re looking at in-house dining or delivery. The following are three forms we provide that can help you out.
Return-to-Work Screening Form
It’s difficult to know who on your team exercised extreme caution during the mandatory lockdown (and who continues to do so), but with this form, you can collect a series of answers to questions that help ensure the folks returning to serve customers and handle food are in good health. Gather information such as temperature, potential exposure to COVID-19, symptoms that could indicate illness, and more. By doing this, you have a much better chance of keeping everyone safer.
Vehicle Sanitation Form
Does your restaurant have a company vehicle used for delivering takeout meals to customers? If so, you need to make sure it’s properly sanitized at the end of each delivery driver’s shift. Though you’ve taken precautions with the Return-to-Work Screening Form, you can never be too safe these days. With this form, drivers use a pre-fabricated checklist of the various sections of the vehicle that need to be wiped down before another driver takes over.
Contactless Delivery Form
This form can be used to verify meals delivered for doorstop drop-off. Drivers can take a photo of food left at customers’ homes for recordkeeping purposes. While most food-delivery drivers will knock or ring the doorbell to alert customers to their food’s arrival, they also have the option to send them an email (with the image attached) as further evidence of delivery.
We have even more forms available that you may be able to use to keep your restaurant running as safely as possible. If you’d like to learn more, give us a call and our expert representatives can help show you which forms may be best for your business.
